Start of by making a folder into your Flash-Drive called PS3,
then in that folder make a new folder called UPDATE ,
and inside that folder place this file called
Downloads:
PSUpdat.pup [4.55, 4.52 and 4.50] :

When done with that go on your PS3, then go to System Settings and System Update
Then do Update With Storage Media.
And Accept terms.
When done do not check " Turn of after update"
When its loaded it will turn of.
Turn it on on the console, not the controller.
IF the downgrade wont show up when you go on system update via storage media.
Then go and turn off your ps3 and wait till it's off.
Then you hold down the power button till it beeps 3 or 4 times (might take 1 or 2 tries)
Then on the menu there go on system update and via storage media and update it.
Turn it on with console, not controller.
It should work :)

Congratz, you have officially downgraded your ps3 from OFW 4.46/4.41 to OFW 3.55!
You are now free to jailbreak the version 3.55!
